Why join the Collaborative?

Serving on a commission offers the opportunity to give back to the community.

Commissions, boards, and committees play a vital role in city government. As a leader in your community, you'll provide guidance and recommendations on specific issues for Council consideration.

By joining the Latina Appointments Collaborative, you'll have access to web-based training and key information to apply to serve on public boards throughout the state of California.

Your information is also added to our database of collaborative members  that we regularly share with key leaders who have the authority to appoint commissioners.

Note: Joining the Latina Appointments Collaborative is not the same thing as applying for an appointment opportunities. We encourage you to seek out and apply for appointment opportunities that interest you.
